Your hydrogenseo.com account is the identity behind everything credit-based in Hydrogen SEO: the platform tools, the plugin's AI features, and the Hydrogen AI agent. This page covers the essentials of managing it: your profile, password, usage, licenses, billing, getting help at /support, and deleting your data.

One account serves both surfaces. The WordPress plugin connects to it (see connect your account), and the platform's signed-in app at hydrogenseo.com is where the account itself is managed.

Your profile

Sign in at hydrogenseo.com to reach your account screens. Your profile holds the basics: who you are and the email address the account lives under. Keep the email current; it's how the platform reaches you and how support identifies your account. hydrogenseo.com uses its own authentication (your account is native to the platform, not borrowed from a third-party login), so this email and password pair is the whole story of signing in.

Password

Change your password from your account screens while signed in. Standard, sensible practice applies:

  1. Use a password manager and a unique password; don't reuse one from another service.
  2. Change it promptly if you suspect exposure.
  3. If you're locked out or can't complete a change, contact /support from the email on the account.

Note that your hydrogenseo.com password is never used by your WordPress site. The plugin's AI features authenticate with a license key (API keys and licenses), and the agent uses a dedicated WordPress application password (how the connection works). Changing your platform password doesn't disturb either.

Viewing usage

Because credits are the metered resource, usage is worth checking periodically:

  1. Sign in and open your account's usage view to see credit consumption.
  2. Usage is metered per license key, so if you follow the one-key-per-site recommendation, consumption breaks down naturally by site. Keys are managed on the Licenses screen at /licenses.
  3. If usage is climbing faster than expected, the usual causes are bulk AI runs (bulk alt text, site-wide agent tasks). The efficiency tips in credits, plans and billing help.

Licenses and billing

Two adjacent screens you'll touch occasionally:

  • Licenses (/licenses): create, rotate, and revoke the license keys your sites use. Full guide: API keys and licenses.
  • Billing: manage your plan and payment details from the billing screen in the signed-in app. Plans live at /pricing; the credit model is explained in credits, plans and billing.

Getting help

/support is the front door for anything the screens don't cover: billing questions, account recovery, connection trouble, or bug reports (worth flagging: Hydrogen SEO is currently in Beta, and reports genuinely shape the product). To get a fast, useful answer:

  1. Write from (or mention) the email address on your account.
  2. Say which surface you're on: the platform, the plugin, or the agent.
  3. For plugin issues, include the plugin version and your WordPress version.
  4. For agent issues, skim agent connection issues first; it resolves the common cases.

Deleting your data

You're in control of what Hydrogen SEO holds, on both sides of the product:

  • On your WordPress site: your SEO data (titles, schema, redirects, and the rest) lives in your own database, under your control like any plugin data. Disconnecting the agent removes its access: disconnect from the plugin or revoke the "Hydrogen SEO Agent" application password under Users → Profile → Application Passwords (details).
  • On the platform: to delete your hydrogenseo.com account and its data, contact /support from the account's email address and request deletion. Support will confirm the request and handle it; be aware that deletion is permanent and ends access to your credits, licenses, and history.

If you only want to stop using AI features, you don't need to delete anything: revoke your license keys on /licenses and the plugin's non-AI features continue working with no account at all.

FAQ

Do I need separate accounts for the plugin and the platform?

No. One hydrogenseo.com account covers both, with one shared credit pool. The plugin connects to it once and stays connected.

How do I recover access if I forget my password?

Use the sign-in screen's recovery flow, and if that doesn't resolve it, contact /support from the email address on the account.

Can I transfer my account or a site to someone else?

For a single site, the clean route is keys: revoke the site's license key on /licenses and have the new owner connect their own (API keys and licenses). For account-level changes, ask /support.

What happens to my site's SEO if I delete my platform account?

Nothing visible. All SEO output is server-rendered by the plugin from data in your own WordPress database, and every non-AI feature works without an account. Only AI generation and platform tools stop.
